My Story
I grew up in Redmond, Washington, and have begun my junior year at DigiPen Institute of Technology in the Fall of 2023. My journey here has been quite a ride. At first, I didn't think I had any interest in computer graphics; I was more focused on game-play programming and design. However, thanks to the encouragement and persistence of my mentors, I decided to give the Real-Time Interactive Simulation program at DigiPen a shot.
Their belief in me led me down a new path, and I discovered a deep passion for graphics and physics in gaming, something I never knew I had. My dream now is to create visually stunning experiences and find innovative, impactful ways for players to interact with virtual worlds. This realization has set me on the path to becoming a graphics engineer and technical artist.
There's one game that has had a profound impact on me—Super Mario Galaxy. It's a game that brought fresh ideas and unique mechanics to the industry, combining them with fun physics-entwined game-play and beautiful visuals. I loved it as a child, and it continues to inspire me as I pursue my passion in the world of gaming.
